He was on duty at the studio for many months; dozens of Hermès crocodile leather bags for Trieu Vy filled the dressing room, wines given in boxes; even spent 1.5 billion Taiwan dollars to buy a 400-year-old French wine castle as a betrothal gift.
At that time, Trieu Vy had just gone through an upheaval because of wearing a controversial military uniform, her spirit collapsed. Before Huynh Huu Long's pursuit, the beauty of "Hoan Chau Cach Cach" was smitten.
After that, the two secretly registered their marriage (2008). In 2010, their daughter Tieu Tu Nguyet was born. In family vacation photos, Huynh Huu Long always actively took photos for his wife and children, building the image of a husband who cherishes his wife very much.
However, according to the media, under the sweet marriage facade are Huynh Huu Long's calculations. He quickly turned Trieu Vy into a "commercial symbol", letting her be the legal entity of many companies, even asking her to guarantee the debts of his older sister.
In 2014, the couple invested 3.1 billion HKD in Alibaba Pictures, only half a year later divestment brought in 2 billion HKD, Zhao Wei was praised by the media as the "female version of Buffett".
But in reality, the manipulator behind is the Huynh Huu Long family, while Trieu Vy mostly only plays the role of "spirits at the forefront".
This approach eventually caused disaster in 2016: through the empty-shell company Long Vy Media, they used 50 times more financial leverage to acquire Wanjia Culture, but due to violations of regulations, they were fined by the Securities Commission, causing heavy losses to tens of thousands of investors.
When the business crisis exploded, marriage breakdowns could not be hidden. A Taiwanese (China) journalist revealed on the program that Huynh Huu Long took advantage of his daughter's piano studies, developing an affair with a piano teacher who regularly came in and out of the house.
He is said to have not only bought a house abroad to arrange for his partner, but they also had separate children. Only when the child's birth certificate was leaked did Zhao Wei realize that she had been betrayed by her husband.
Huynh Huu Long used the excuse that Trieu Vy "is a public figure, doing big will affect her children" to prolong the divorce petition for two years.
During the separation period (2019-2021), Huynh Huu Long did not hide anything, and was also publicly photographed taking his stepchild to and from shopping centers and restaurants abroad.
Even more fierce was the property war. Trieu Vy discovered that the French wine castles that were once said to be "given to her", in fact, had been registered in the name of Huynh Huu Long's eldest son (with his ex-wife) before marriage; and shares and deposits of companies jointly held by the two people had also been secretly transferred.
When the divorce procedures were completed in 2021, Trieu Vy almost left empty-handed, but still had to bear the debt of 753 million HKD left by Huynh Huu Long.
The postponed divorce announcement until the end of 2024 was revealed, in fact, it was Zhao Wei's self-rescue move. Previously, Huynh Huu Long was wanted for 1.12 billion HKD, Hong Kong (China) media still called him "Zhao Wei's husband", causing assets in Zhao Wei's name to be frozen.
Finally, Trieu Vy posted a statement on Weibo in January 2025 to sever relations with her ex-husband, and at the same time divest all shares in related companies. Huynh Huu Long at this time owed 2.8 million HKD in rent, out of 22 related companies, 14 companies had dissolved.
