The male is Nguyen Van Hoa (46 years old, from Ca Mau), a carpenter in Ho Chi Minh City; the female is Do Thi Tham (40 years old) - a garment worker from Can Tho. Both of them came to the show with the desire to find a sincere partner, share and make up for the gaps in life.
Sharing during the recording, Do Thi Tham said that she had organized a wedding but had not registered her marriage. After more than a year of living together, the marriage broke down due to conflicts and the metaphor of her ex-husband. She confided that she had been kicked out of the house many times, so now she just wants to meet a man who is responsible, caring, not patriarchal and has a bit of a lot of responsibility and romance.
On the other side, Van Hoa impressed MC Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan with her gentle and honest appearance. He said that he had been married for 8 years and had a 21-year-old son in college. After their business failed, the couple moved to Ho Chi Minh City to live, but his wife left and they officially divorced in 2022. He currently lives alone and hopes to find a simple woman who knows how to share and take care of her family.
