Recently, Song Hye Kyo became the cover face for Vogue Korea's October issue. During the conversation, the actress shared many things about her work and life.
Song Hye Kyo of the present
Born in 1981, Song Hye Kyo is still a top Korean star and is active in her field. If you talk to the actress while she is participating in a film project, the story will always lead to acting problems.
When I started filming, I only thought about the character. Every day, from opening my eyes to going to bed, I live in the character and immerse myself in that character. Sometimes friends point out that I don't like Song Hye Kyo normally, that's when I unconsciously reveal the character's personality without knowing it," Song Hye Kyo said.
She also emphasized: "I have to take responsibility for my role, for my work".
At the age of over 40, Song Hye Kyo admitted that acting is getting more and more difficult. Although she has 28 years of experience, the deeper she goes, the more she discovers the delicate details that need to be touched and the sense of responsibility is also increasing.
When I was young, I vaguely thought that I would grow up to be a good actor like my seniors. But as time passed, things became more difficult. For example, when I got older, I was given new characters. I have to learn about the lives, stories and emotions of characters that I have never experienced before, and at the same time, I have to study acting to suit them, the actress confided.
For Song Hye Kyo, this is also an opportunity for her to practice understanding others. When she accepts the differences, it is also the time when she feels more relieved.
Song Hye Kyo follows the philosophy of life "the present moment is the most important". She said: "If the past is kept, nothing will change. I only remember good moments, and live my best in the present to avoid repeating the bad past. The future changes according to the present, so I try to live fully with this moment, today".
She also learned to love herself more, instead of trying to please everyone. When I loved myself first, I loved others more, the actress said.

Recording screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung
Song Hye Kyo is currently filming the drama Slowly and Intensely - marking her reunion with screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung after two works The World They Live 2008 and That Winter Wind (2013).
Slowly and Intensely tells the story of people who were eager to succeed in the Korean entertainment industry from the 1960s to 1980s.
Song Hye Kyo shared about the reason for participating in the project: I was curious about the lives and emotions of the characters in an era that I had never experienced before. I was attracted to this role because this is a character I have never tried before.
Above all, Noh Hee Kyung's script touched my heart, and I was delighted to collaborate with director Lee Yoon Jung - someone I've always wanted to work with. Not to mention the presence of many other talented actors.
When writing the script, screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung said that this role was suitable for short hair, so Song Hye Kyo accepted the opinion. She cuts her hair short just to touch her ears, bringing the image of a pure but also brave young girl.
Previously, Song Hye Kyo always wanted her work to achieve good ratings and be loved by many people when it was released, that is success. Up to now, her thinking has changed.
I believe that a good work will be reviewed over time. If someone reviewed my work and kept beautiful memories, it would be a happy thing. I don't want to be too ambitious. I am passionate about acting and want to create good works with my companions, Song Hye Kyo shared.
