According to Resolution (No. 315/2024/NQ-HDND) of Lam Dong Provincial People's Council (effective from July 22, 2024), district-level cadres, civil servants, and public employees; commune-level cadres and civil servants redundant due to the rearrangement of district- and commune-level administrative units in Lam Dong province according to the decision of competent authorities will be supported with 6 months of current salary for one case (excluding concurrent positions).
Current salary is the salary of the month immediately preceding the downsizing. Monthly salary is calculated including: Salary according to rank, position, title, professional title; position allowances, seniority allowances exceeding the framework, seniority allowances, salary and reserved difference (if any) according to the provisions of the law on salary.
If beneficiaries of support policies are re-elected or re-recruited into agencies, organizations, or units receiving salaries from the State budget within 60 months from the date of streamlining, they must return the support amount received to the paying agency, organization, or unit.
Thus, commune-level civil servants who are redundant due to administrative unit rearrangement in Lam Dong province, if meeting the conditions, will be supported with an additional 6 months of current salary.
