The time and level of adjustment to increase the pension by 15% for commune, ward and town officials are stipulated in Clause 1, Article 2 of Decree 75/2024/ND-CP as follows:
Timing and level of adjustment
1. From July 1, 2024, an additional 15% increase will be made to the pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance of June 2024 for the subjects specified in Clause 1, Article 1 of this Decree.

The scope of adjustment and subjects of application of the 15% pension increase are stipulated in Point b, Clause 1, Article 1 of Decree 75/2024/ND-CP as follows:
Commune, ward and town officials are prescribed in Decree No. 33/2023/ND-CP; Decree No. 92/2009/ND-CP dated October 22, 2009; Decree No. 34/2019/ND-CP dated April 24, 2019 of the Government; Decree No. 121/2003/ND-CP dated October 21, 2003 of the Government; Decree No. 09/1998/ND-CP dated January 23, 1998 of the Government amending and supplementing Decree No. 50/CP dated July 26, 1995 of the Government.
Accordingly, in case commune, ward and town officials meet the above conditions, their pension will be increased by 15% from July 1, 2024.
Commune, ward and town officials will receive a second pension increase after applying a 15% increase in the cases specified in Clause 2, Article 2 of Decree 75/2024/ND-CP as follows:

1. From July 1, 2024, an additional 15% increase will be made to the pension, social insurance allowance and monthly allowance of June 2024 for the subjects specified in Clause 1, Article 1 of this Decree.
2. From July 1, 2024, people receiving pensions, social insurance benefits, and monthly allowances as prescribed in Clause 2, Article 1 of this Decree, after adjustment as prescribed in Clause 1 of this Article, with a benefit level lower than VND 3,500,000/month, will be adjusted to increase as follows:
Increase by 300,000 VND/person/month for those with benefits below 3,200,000 VND/person/month; increase by 3,500,000 VND/person/month for those with benefits from 3,200,000 VND/person/month to under 3,500,000 VND/person/month.

Thus, commune, ward and town officials who meet the conditions will have their pensions adjusted up for the second time after applying the 15% increase (from July 1, 2024) as follows:
- Increase by 300,000 VND/person/month for those with benefits below 3,200,000 VND/person/month;
- Increase by 3,500,000 VND/person/month for those with benefits from 3,200,000 VND/person/month to less than 3,500,000 VND/person/month.
