According to Korean media, ADOR issued an official statement: "ADOR has never encouraged NJZ to cancel their concert in Hong Kong (China)".
The company added, "We also confirm that Chairman Bang Si Hyuk has never contacted us about NJZ's concert in Hong Kong (China)".
Earlier in the same day, the parent association of Minji, Danielle, Hani, Haerin and Hyein made an accusation through their official social media accounts, stating that Bang Si Hyuk - HYBE President - had requested to cancel NJZ's overseas concert.
The Parents' Association stated, "A ComplexCon official involved in the preparation for a recent concert informed us that Bang Si Hyuk personally called a number of people in the US, urging them to cancel the concert of NJZ (people with authority over NJZ's concert in Hong Kong (China)".
The parents continued to express their disappointment, saying, "We were extremely angry and offended. That made us realize that HYBE is not changing - they still only consider members as a way to make money, not artists who need support.
Instead of encouraging NJZ, they intervened and tried to make NJZ fail. Since then, we have also heard that ADOR has tried to intervene in various ways."
