On July 11, Kpop girl group Blackpink will officially return to the music race with the new song "Jump", marking the group's comeback after nearly 3 years since the album "Born Pink" released in September 2022.
Before the MV Jump aired, management company YG Entertainment released a trailer and promotional photos for the song.
However, the trailer video was immediately controversial. On the online community, a post attracted attention when it accused YG of abusing AI in the trailer for Jump, creating unreal-life details and images.
In particular, a poster with 4 Blackpink members (Lisa, Rose, Jisoo, Jennie) in the video was commented as "too strange" and "unrecognizable".
Many viewers even think that a personal poster of Rose looks exactly like Lisa, and fans will find it difficult to recognize the female idol if they do not name each person's own name.

Meanwhile, a series of thematic photos of the 4 members received many negative feedback about the quality. Some opinions commented that the photo series was made superficially, lacking investment in ideas, settings and images.
There are comments that the group's group photo looks like a "combined photo" and is not worthy of a top group like Blackpink.
Other opinions criticized YG for disregarding the audience. Blackpink was also questioned for failing to meet expectations with their highly anticipated comeback.

In fact, the song "Jump" was performed by Blackpink at a concert held at Goyang Stadium (Korea) on July 5-6.
With a live stage, Jump caused controversy about its quality, as many people rated it as a bland, un highlighted music product, and like a fairlied song or a B-class song.
However, the Blackpink fan community still hopes that the official MV of Jump released on July 11 will have more complete quality.
Blackpink is currently on the Deadline global tour, with a total of 31 shows, passing through 16 cities around the world.
