On the online community theqoo, a post sharing Blackpink's "Jump" performance video attracted nearly 70,000 views and more than 700 comments. Most of them were criticisms of the song's quality.
Many opinions say that this song is not like a release by Blackpink. Some people even call it a "B-class" single, not worthy of the reputation and status of a top Kpop girl group.
The audience was concerned that a song lacking in highlights and bland like "Jump" could be chosen as the opening song for Blackpink's upcoming album.

Not only that, there are comments that the choreography of Jump is also unimpressive and the Blackpink members seem to have not had much time to practice together, leading to a lack of sociability in the performance.
However, because this is not an official release, fans still expect Jump to receive a more positive reaction when releasing a quality studio version.
