During a stop in Munich (Germany) during the "Arirang World Tour" tour taking place on July 11-12 (local time), BTS received a special welcome from Bayern Munich. Before the two nights of concerts at Allianz Arena, the German team continuously shared many contents related to the global group, from the special edition jersey to videos of players experiencing ARMY Bomb for the first time (BTS's official lightstick).
Before the first night performance, Bayern Munich posted images of 8 jerseys designed specifically for BTS on social media platforms. One is named BTS, the other seven are printed with the names of members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook (all using jersey number 7). Attached to the series of photos is the familiar fanchant (slogan) of BTS, seven purple heart icons and the sharing line: "Special gift for a special team".

According to Bayern Munich, this jersey was designed specifically to welcome BTS to perform at the Allianz Arena and these jerseys will not be used in any official matches of the club afterwards.
A special gift from the "Bavarian Bavaria" quickly appeared on stage. In the first performance night at Allianz Arena, V and j-hope respectively wore club jerseys in some performances, attracting great cheers from fans. Images of two BTS members wearing jerseys of the most traditional football team in Germany were widely shared by fans on social networks, contributing to creating a giao thoa (intersection/interaction) between music and football right at the "holy land" Allianz Arena.
Previously, "Gray Wolf" also attracted the attention of the BTS fan community when posting a video recording the moment first team players such as Manuel Neuer, Thomas Müller and Kim Min Jae experienced ARMY Bomb lightsticks for the first time. In the video, Kim Min Jae introduced BTS's lightstick before guiding his teammates to use it. The players then sent their best wishes for BTS to have two successful nights at Allianz Arena.
This is not the first time the German football club has shown interest in BTS. Immediately after the group announced the "Arirang World Tour" schedule in early 2026, the team's official account posted an article expressing their desire for BTS to choose Allianz Arena as a stopover in Germany. After more than half a year, that desire has become a reality.
Two nights of BTS's concert at Allianz Arena, marking the group's first return to Germany after about 8 years since the "Love Yourself World Tour" tour. BTS also became the first Asian artist to hold a concert at Allianz Arena. All tickets for the two nights of the show were sold out before the program started.
The opening of Allianz Arena to welcome BTS is also a notable milestone for this stadium. Since its inauguration in 2005, it has almost only served football matches due to strict requirements in grass maintenance. Large-scale music events were previously mainly held at the Olympic Stadium in Munich.
By 2025, when the Olympic Stadium enters the renovation process, Allianz Arena will be chosen to host some concerts. According to the plan of the Munich city government, after the project is completed and upgraded in 2027, music events will be re-organized at the Olympic Stadium. Therefore, BTS is considered the first Asian artist, and may also be the only Asian artist to have ever held a concert here.
Bayern Munich's continuous sharing of content related to BTS brings positive communication effects to both sides. For the club, this is an opportunity to promote BTS's image to the fan community worldwide, especially in Asia - one of the key markets in the team's brand development strategy.
On BTS's side, the welcome from one of the most traditional clubs in Europe contributes to increasing the attraction of the performance in Munich in the "Arirang World Tour", and also shows that the group's influence is increasingly going beyond the music field.
