Justin Bieber is the latest name confirmed by FIFA to participate in the halftime show of the FIFA World Cup 2026 final, taking place on July 19 at MetLife Stadium (New Jersey, USA).
The pop prince will share the stage with BTS, Madonna and Shakira in a performance lasting about 11 minutes.
The appearance of Justin Bieber completes the main artist lineup for the first half-time stage in World Cup history. Previously, FIFA announced that BTS, Madonna and Shakira would participate as co-main artists. In addition to the 4 main performers (headliners), the program also features Burna Boy, conductor Gustavo Dudamel, the PS22 Chorus in collaboration with Coldplay and characters from Sesame Street, The Muppets.
Unlike previous World Cups, this year's final will have a performance program during the half-time break, built according to a similar model to the Super Bowl Halftime Show. FIFA said this is one of the notable new points of the 2026 World Cup, aimed at bringing a different experience to fans alongside the match on the field.

The program is implemented by FIFA in coordination with Global Citizen organization, under the creative direction of Chris Martin - leader of Coldplay. Not only for entertainment, the halfway stage also accompanies the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative aimed at raising 100 million USD to expand access to education and football for children around the world.
According to the organizers, the fund has raised more than 50 million USD. Notably, each ticket sold for the 2026 World Cup will deduct 1 USD to contribute to the fund, supporting education and community development projects in many countries.
Sharing about this appearance, Justin Bieber said he felt honored to perform at the biggest sporting event on the planet. The "Baby" singer said that the World Cup is a rare opportunity to connect fans around the world, and expressed her appreciation that the program not only serves the audience but also contributes to expanding learning opportunities for children.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino assessed that gathering famous headliners such as Justin Bieber, BTS, Madonna, Shakira and many international artists will help the program strongly spread the message of education, solidarity and hope to billions of viewers watching the final match.
In parallel with the half-time performance program, FIFA also launched the "Unite for Education" campaign in the knockout stage of the 2026 World Cup to raise awareness about educational projects implemented by FIFA and partners. Players will wear the campaign logo on their jerseys in the remaining matches of the tournament.
With the participation of Justin Bieber, BTS, Madonna and Shakira, the first half-time performance in World Cup history is expected to become a highlight alongside the final match, and at the same time open a new approach of FIFA in combining football with music and community activities.
