During the nearly 1-week journey to Migrants' Arirang Multicultural Festival 2017, Chau Khai Phong had a rather busy schedule. Here, he practiced with the big stage, answering interviews on media channels for Vietnamese people in Korea. In addition, he accepted to be a guest at a singing competition for Vietnamese people in Korea. Then they ran the program and performed in front of the audience.
According to Chau Khai Phong, the organizers of Migrants' Arirang Multicultural Festival 2017 as well as the Vietnamese community in Korea highly appreciate the artist. He was arranged a luxurious accommodation near the performance location for easy travel. In addition, the training and performance schedule is meticulously arranged by the organizing committee and at the right time every minute.
Although it rained and the audience was very large before the show, everything was in order and did not affect the artists' psychology. This is what made Chau Khai Phong most satisfied during the tour.
On the stage of Migrants Arirang Multicultural Festival 2017, in addition to songs familiar to Vietnamese audiences, Chau Khai Phong introduced a new song called From each other its hard, a composition by Thanh Hung Idol. Although it was the first time he heard him perform this song, the audience was excited with the meaningful lyrics and close melody.
The program has the participation of singers from more than 12 countries, but the musical language connects listeners and Chau Khai Phong is fortunate to be wholeheartedly supported by audiences from other countries.
"Phong thinks this is the most wonderful experience in his singing career. I feel like when singing in front of more than 30,000 audiences, there are people who don't understand the lyrics from their singing, but the connection and touching each other's hearts with musical language is very effective," he shared.
