Previously, when information about this year's Tao Quan was announced, the audience speculated about the possibility of People's Artist Xuan Bac's participation. Many people predicted that he would not be able to appear in the 2025 "Tao Quan season" after being appointed to the position of Director of the Department of Performing Arts from November 2024.
People's Artist Xuan Bac once affirmed that he was lucky to perform with a group of artists who understood each other, were close-knit and united like in Tao Quan.
“Each of us has our own color, complementing and connecting with each other. Most importantly, after the long journey we have had together, we are now like a family,” said People’s Artist Xuan Bac.
The absence of People's Artist Xuan Bac or People's Artist Cong Ly will leave a big void in Tao Quan. The two artists have successfully portrayed the roles of Nam Tao and Bac Dau, leaving an impression on the audience for 2 decades.
