On the evening of December 7, the first concert in Hanoi of "Anh trai say hi" took place at My Dinh Stadium. Before that, the two concerts in Ho Chi Minh City recorded tens of thousands of fans attending.
The 30 brothers also created a similar attraction in Hanoi. Many spectators lined up from 5am, hoping to get a good spot in the Fanzone. Since this is a standing ticket, whoever arrives first will have the advantage of "sticking to the fence" with a very close distance to their idol.
Tran Hai Binh (Hai Phong, 23 years old) shared: "My friends and I traveled from Hai Phong a day earlier. At 5am, I arrived at the stadium and was surprised because there were already a lot of spectators waiting in front of the ticket gate. I think the Fanzone ticket class is a health battle for fans. We brought a lot of things but on the condition that they had to be as light as possible: food, drinks, raincoats, power banks, hats, scarves".
"Even though I 'camped' for more than 12 hours, I didn't dare wear a thick coat because when I entered the stadium, I would have to continue standing and holding my seat. We took turns going to the toilet and didn't dare sleep at all. Due to the cold and rainy weather, the waiting process became longer and more difficult. I think many people gave up after waiting for so long in the cold weather. However, I think the view close to the stage in the Fanzone is worth fighting for," the female audience member shared.
Many people may find it strange that many fans are willing to wait for half a day, but in fact, this culture is quite popular in countries with developed music industries such as Korea, Japan, Thailand, etc. If fans can hold on to the fence, they can interact with their idols, have a place to hold on to when watching the show, and get a close look at the stage. That is an advantage that few ticket classes have.
According to Hai Binh, the next challenge was that after waiting for about 7 hours, when the ticket gate opened, fans had to run quickly into the Fanzone and hold onto the barrier.
"There were many people who sat there all morning, but when we got in, they ran past me. After a patient fight, we raced into the stadium to take our seats. From then on, we were not allowed to move from our seats, we had to stay there until the concert started," Hai Binh shared.
Le Huyen (23 years old, Nam Dinh) shared that she traveled alone from Nam Dinh to Hanoi to attend the concert. Before that, when the show was held in Ho Chi Minh City, Hang watched the red carpet via livestream and wished to see Anh trai say hi in Hanoi.
Hang bought SVIP tickets and added: “When I saw fans waiting from 4am, I felt very impressed. Because I was traveling alone and my health was not good, I tried to buy SVIP tickets to be able to sit and have a seat number. Maybe the experience of watching such an exciting concert will not be as complete as the standing area, but I was traveling alone so a seated ticket was suitable.”
After night 3 taking place on the evening of December 7, night 4 of the concert Anh trai say hi will be held on the evening of December 9.
