Actor Cuong Ca said that besides working at Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in the role of recording programs and folk songs, he also participates in many television and film projects as well as personal products.
Cuong Ca participates in producing many comedy videos on platforms, attracting millions of views. Many comedy skits performed by him and Meritorious Artist Thai Son are praised for their script ideas, everyday stories, and natural acting style.
Despite a tight work schedule, Cuong Ca and Thai Son are still maintaining the production of comedy videos on social networks.
According to Cuong Ca, balancing work at the agency, artistic activities and digital content creation is not simple, because each field requires serious investment in time, ideas and brainpower.
According to him, if previously just one interesting idea could attract viewers, now creating quality content has become much more difficult.
Audiences now have access to a lot of content, so thinking and tastes also change very quickly. Meanwhile, there are more and more individuals and units producing short comedy videos, making competition much greater," Cuong Ca expressed.
According to actor Cuong Ca, the biggest challenge for content creators today is to find new ideas that are still close and valuable.
He believes that compared to before, the pressure of content creators is increasing when they have to both meet the audience's tastes and ensure civilization and compliance with the regulations of digital platforms.
Ideas are increasingly scarce, while each actor only has a certain number of performance nuances. Creating a story that is both graceful and civilized, not offensive or touching anyone is really not easy," he expressed.
The actor believes that the development of social networks gives viewers more choices, and also sets higher requirements for creators.
Many other comedy channels have been born, creating great competition. Besides, each skit not only needs to bring laughter but also has a positive message and is suitable for many audience groups.
Cuong Ca also admitted that digital platforms today are increasing content censorship, forcing creators to constantly change to adapt.
Platforms are censoring content very strictly. Therefore, creators are forced to constantly learn, practice and innovate themselves.
I often compare myself to a silkworm, having to constantly eat mulberry leaves to spin silk, always searching and creating to survive," the actor said.

Speaking about income from social networks, Cuong Ca said that many people still mistakenly believe that this is an easy source of money. According to him, direct revenue from views or creative funds of the platform only accounts for a very small part of total income.
In fact, there are many ways to make money on social networks. However, direct revenue from views or creative funds is more motivational than the main source of income. That is just a small source of income to help me have more funds to continue producing content and pursuing creative work. If you say this is a stable source of income, it is not necessarily true," he said.
For the actor personally, in the context of a digital environment changing every day, the most important thing for a creator is to constantly learn, innovate themselves and maintain responsibility for the content they bring to the public.
