According to the latest announcement from Billboard, TWICE officially became the first Korean girl group in 2021 to have a solid album on the Billboard Hot 200 chart for 5 consecutive weeks. As of December 21, the group's third studio album continues to maintain its position at 84.
In addition, TWICE also became the second girl group from the land of kimchi to reach a high position, only behind Blackpink with Kill This Love. This is considered TWICE's effort in music activities in 2021 - a rather difficult year for the world entertainment industry.
Before TWICE's above achievements, some music experts commented that "Formula of Love: 0+T=<3" has contributed to helping the girl group consolidate their position not only in their homeland but also in the international market. In particular, songs in the album such as Scientist or Icon have achieved quite a high number of listens in recent times. It is predicted that the new album will continue to "upgrade" to the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Released in mid-November, Formula of Love: 0+T=<3 includes a collection of 14 songs featuring Pop Dance and Ballad. Right from the time of release, the album reached sales of up to 66,000 copies, not to mention more than 700,000 copies were ordered online before the official launch date.
In addition, TWICE's new album also entered the Top 5 of the list of "Best K-Pop albums of 2021" voted by the entertainment site Pop Matters, and won the award for "Most Impressive Korean Song and Album of 2021" voted by readers of Time magazine in the US.
