On October 2, the APEC Committee (2025 South Korea Economic Cooperation Summit) announced a new promotional video featuring many Korean stars such as idol singer G-Dragon (Big Bang), female idol Jang Won Young (IVE), former football player Park Ji Sung, director Park Chan Wook, DJ Peg Gougy, chef Anh Sung Jae and even President of South Korea Lee Jae Myung.
The video, which is more than 1 minute long, opens with G-Dragon transforming into a pilot, entering a restaurant where Park Chan Wook and Park Ji Sung are having dinner. Peggy Gougy was sipping a cup of tea nearby and also watched him.
pilots from APEC member states gathered in a separate room in a restaurant and waited for the South Korean pilot (G-Dragon) to appear.
When G-Dragon had just sat down at the table, he opened with the introduction Welcome to APEC, but was immediately interrupted by the female cashier wearing hanbok Jang Won Young. She asked the pilot to put the Korean aircraft with the lucky number 2025 in the right position.
The humorous moment of G-Dragon and Jang Won Young was discussed. The audience praised the director for cleverly incorporating humorous elements to create highlights for a serious video.
G-Dragon's handsome appearance also reminded fans of his image in the Infinite Challenge program ten years ago.
The video then transitioned to President Lee Jae Myung appearing as a ground employee at the airport. He instructed G-Dragon aircraft to lead the fleet towards the 2025 APEC Summit.

Even President Lee Jae Myung agreed to appear, not as a powerful figure, but as a humble, close role, which made the message even more meaningful.
The 2025 APEC Summit will be held from October 31 to November 1, 2025 in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do (South Korea), marking one of the most important international events hosted by South Korea in recent years.
