In the historical and horror film "The standard of selling mulberry", Huu Vi plays the role of young master Vu The Dinh, the third son of the family. The Dinh is Nhai's (Lam Thanh My) husband, experiencing hidden pain in the past. When marrying Nhai, The Dinh had no feelings for her because the marriage was just a formality.

Especially in the moving room scene, actor Huu Vi as The Dinh has a scene where he reveals his third party. At the press conference to launch the film, director Le Van Kiet said he chose that angle because it expressed the view of Nhai - a new woman with the first experience in his life as a wife.
Huu Vi said: "The crew has prepared the supporting actors for sensitive scenes, but only the female leads. So with the male character, I have to play it myself. I also don't feel shy about this."
The actor said that he drank a little real wine in the scene where The Dinh was a bit drunk, with the purpose of acting in the most realistic way, to easily feel and play the role better.
Although in the film some scenes of the character The Dinh revealing his body, Huu Vi said that he did not need to practice too much for this role.
Actually, in this film, I dont want to practice to stay in shape or prepare my body like usual. Instead of practicing, I chose to live closer to the character. To be honest, I play like him...

Playing the role of Lam Thanh My's husband - a co-star 13 years younger than her - is not a problem for Huu Vi. Previously, the actor had experience in some emotional scenes on screen, in music videos.
