Nghe An - Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien, Vice President, was elected to hold the position of President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union.

On August 14, Nghe An Provincial Women's Union held the 13th Conference of the 16th Executive Committee to complete the position of Chairman of the Provincial Women's Union, term 2021 - 2026.

The conference was attended by Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Huong - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of the Organizing Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda - Mass Mobilization Committee and all members of the Provincial Women's Union Executive Committee, term XVI.

With the spirit of democracy, solidarity and responsibility, the conference took steps according to regulations.

As a result, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, Head of the Women's Affairs Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - was elected to hold the position of President of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union for the 2021-2026 term.

Speaking after taking up the assignment, the new Chairwoman Hoang Thi Thu Hien expressed her appreciation for the trust and support of the Executive Committee; at the same time, affirmed that she will work with the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee to promote the tradition of solidarity and creativity, continue to innovate the content and methods of activities to build the women's movement in Nghe An province to develop strongly.

The completion of the position of Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union is considered an important milestone, creating more motivation for the Union to continue to actively contribute to the socio-economic development of the province in the new period.

Previously, Ms. Nguyen Thi Quynh Hoa - President of the Women's Union of Nghe An province, XV, applied for retirement under the regime.
