Recently, IVE became the first Kpop girl group to perform for 2 consecutive years at the Lollapalooza music festival. Last year, the girl group of StarShip Entertainment was invited to perform at Lollapalooza Chicago (USA), and this year it was held in Berlin (Germany).
IVE brought a vibrant 55-minute performance to a passionate audience, proving the group's maturity and growing popularity.
But not only IVE's performances, social networks were stirred up when they discovered J-Hope (BTS) standing below the stage, following and shaking with IVE's melodies. This year, J-Hope is one of the main performers of the Lollapalooza Berlin music festival.
The male singer even shared a video of IVE's stage on his personal page, including the group's official account.
Many audiences were surprised and touched by J-Hope's enthusiastic support for a girl group of juniors not managed by the same management company.
But that's not everything. After the performance, IVE member Rei revealed that J-Hope quietly went backstage to cheer for the group. The female idol said that before IVE stepped onto the stage, HYBE's male idol went behind the scenes, met and directly encouraged the girls.
Rei expressed his gratitude that J-Hope came to see IVE's performance. At the same time, she said that she was inspired to become a great artist like J-Hope.
On July 16, IVE's official social media account shared a photo of the girl group with J-Hope backstage at the Lollapalooza Berlin 2025 music festival, with the caption: "IVE x j-hope meet in Berlin".
J-Hope's friendliness, enthusiasm and warmth once again became a topic of interest. Previously, the male rapper of BTS surprised everyone when he came to cheer for Blackpink at the Deadline concert in Korea.
Currently, J-Hope is actively producing a new album with the entire BTS group, expected to be released in the spring of 2026. BTS will also meet fans again with a world tour after the album is released.
