Vietnamese authorities are verifying and clarifying information related to the case of two Korean women assaulting a Vietnamese woman.

At the regular press conference of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the afternoon of July 17, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang answered questions about Vietnam's handling of the case of two Korean women assaulting a Vietnamese woman.

"Vietnamese authorities are verifying and clarifying related information to handle it in accordance with Vietnamese law" - Ms. Pham Thu Hang shared.

Previously, on the night of July 13, an account posted an article on P.T.T's personal page, accusing two Korean women of being assaulted right at the photography room at the photobooth Photoism store, Me Tri branch (in Tu Liem ward, Hanoi), because they had to wait their turn.

Accordingly, on the evening of July 11, Ms. T. and her friend went to take photos at the store, a location that was popular with Korean tourists. Although Ms. T. and her friend had booked and taken photos while allowed, the two Korean women stood outside the photobooth room constantly urging her.

When Ms. T.'s friend responded with a question "Oh? ", one of the two Koreans immediately rushed in and grabbed Ms. T.'s hair and punched her friend T. repeatedly. Ms. T. also was threatened with beating when she intervened. Other guests in the store witnessed the incident, but the staff were present and did not intervene. The entire incident was recorded by a camera at the restaurant.
