The film festival takes place from June 28 to July 4 in Da Nang city. The appearance of the Korean star is expected to become one of the highlights of this year's film festival, attracting the attention of a large audience and movie lovers.

In many years of artistic activities, Ji Chang Wook has become a familiar face to Asian audiences. Possessing outstanding appearance, diverse acting ability and persistent working style, the actor born in 1987 has received the love of a large audience and maintained a stable attraction on the screen for many years.

However, it was not until the role of Emperor Ta Hwan in the hit historical drama Empress Ki (2013) that Ji Chang Wook's name really exploded.

After the success of Empress Ki, Ji Chang Wook continued to affirm his position through a series of famous works such as Healer (2014), The K2 (2016), Suspicious Partner (2017), Lovestruck in the City (2020), The Sound of Magic (2022)...

In 2023, he received positive feedback for his role as undercover policeman Park Jun Mo in the crime series The Worst of Evil by Disney+, starring with Wi Ha Joon and Lim Se Mi. Later, he returned with a lighter color in Welcome to Samdal-ri, a Jeju Island-based romance film, starring Shin Hye Sun.

In 2024, the actor tried his hand at a new image in the crime series Gangnam B-Side of Disney+, playing Yoon Gil Ho - a mysterious broker operating in the underworld of Gangnam.

The role was commented to be different from his familiar image before. The film was also invited to participate in the On Screen category at the Busan International Film Festival before its official release.

Recently, Ji Chang Wook attracted attention with The Manipulated - a Disney+ action and revenge series, starring alongside D.O. (EXO). The work marks the comeback of the actor with his action forte.

In the field of cinema, Ji Chang Wook has participated in films such as Fabricated City, Hard Hit, Revolver and most recently Colony, showing a flexible shift between the big screen and television.

His presence at DANAFF IV is expected to become one of the notable highlights of this year's film festival, especially at the Opening Ceremony and the red carpet.

The event took place on the evening of June 28, 2026 at Ariyana Da Nang International Convention Center and was broadcast live on VTV1 channel - Vietnam Television and some live retransmission platforms.

In addition, Ji Chang Wook also confirmed his participation in the Korean Film Night held on the evening of June 29. The event was attended by Mr. Kim Dong Ho - founder of the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), along with famous artists such as Park Sung Woong, Han Dong Hee and Idol Nation.
