Organizational consolidation after administrative unit arrangement
Over the past time, in the context of operating the 2-level local government model, the Association for Promoting Education at all levels has been reviewed and consolidated to suit practical requirements.
The consolidation of the organization and apparatus ensures unity in operation, while creating conditions to promote the role of association officials at the grassroots level.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial Association for Promoting Education, to date, more than 80% of communes, wards, and special zones have completed the establishment and consolidation of the Association for Promoting Education according to new administrative units.
Many localities have organized Congresses of the Association for Promoting Education for the 2026 - 2031 term, creating a premise for stabilizing organization and improving the quality of activities at the grassroots level.
Immediately after the merger, the Dam Rong 4 Commune Association for Promoting Education was quickly consolidated and put into stable operation.
To date, the whole commune has built a network of 1,272 members, operating in 27 village branches and 11 school branches.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Be - Chairwoman of the Association for Promoting Education of Dam Rong 4 commune said that the consolidation of the organization after the merger helps operations not to be interrupted, and promotes the good role of connecting clans, villages, hamlets and schools.
Models such as: Studying Families, Studying Clans, Studying Communitys, Studying Units and Studying Citizens are implemented practically, suitable to the specific characteristics of the locality," Ms. Be emphasized.
According to the assessment of the Provincial Association for Promoting Education, the 2-level local government model creates stronger decentralization and delegation of power, helping the association promote its role as a bridge with the grassroots level, increasing proactiveness in deploying the movement.
However, this is also a time when "gaps" easily arise in coordination between associations at all levels, requiring organizations to adapt quickly, ensuring unity but flexibility according to each locality.
Spreading learning models in the community
Associations for Promoting Education at all levels in the province continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in a practical and effective direction.
Many localities promote the "Learning Citizen" model according to the new criteria of the Central Vietnam Association for Promoting Education; the models "Learning Family", "Learning Clan", "Learning Community", "Learning Unit" continue to be maintained and widely spread in the community.
Promoting education and talent activities are increasingly strongly oriented towards grassroots levels, focusing on supporting students in difficult circumstances with programs such as "Continuing Steps for Children to School", "Raising Steps for Children to School".
In addition, associations at all levels coordinated with organizations and philanthropists to implement many practical activities such as donating water purifiers, water tanks, and supporting food and necessities for students in difficult areas.
Activities to build a learning society continue to be implemented through the Community Learning Center system, associated with patriotic emulation movements and building a cultural life in residential areas.
The Association continues to innovate its operating methods in the direction of digital transformation, green learning promotion, and expanding learning models in the community.
According to Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh, Chairwoman of the Lam Dong Provincial Association for Promoting Education, Association levels are promoting the role of a bridge between sectors, schools and society, contributing to building a learning society, where all people have the opportunity to learn, develop and rise up in life.
