According to the Institute of Forensic Medicine, after autopsy, the conclusion showed that DJ Tete died from being shot in the head. Functional forces are urgently investigating the motive for the crime and arresting suspects.
A day earlier, the police of Lat Ya commune (in Kanchanaburi province) received a report from local residents about a body discovered in the forest.
When found, the body was lying on its side, its arms tied behind it with ropes, the head had two wounds that looked like bullets and was in a state of decomposition.
The victim was identified as Warapong Khunsrichaturong (DJ Tete). From May 14, the family announced a search for the missing victim.
The last image of DJ Tete recorded by a camera was when he attended a birthday party at a bar. He was then reportedly forced to get on a white truck. In addition, the Kanchanaburi provincial court issued an arrest warrant for the driver and four other suspects involved in the incident.
After a few days, DJ Tete's body was left in the forest about 20 km from where he went missing.
Initial investigation results rule out suspicions of involvement of DJ Tete's new girlfriend. The cause of the incident may stem from the relationship between DJ Tete and another girl.
