On the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1990 - May 19, 2025), on the evening of May 19, 2025, in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee held a ceremony to award awards for composition, promotion of literary, artistic and press works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" for the second period of 2021 - 2025.
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia attended and gave a speech at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department and the Central Mobilization - emphasized: President Ho Chi Minh - The Genius Leader of the Party and the people of our people, the hero of national liberation, outstanding cultural houses - symbols of the quintessence, aspiration and aura of Vietnam - shining intelligence, mettle and wages of the nation and the era.
Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is the valuable spiritual property of our Party and the nation, a guideline for the Vietnamese revolution to win the struggle for national liberation, to socialism, innovate, build and develop the country. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is the way for each of us to inherit and write the heroic and glorious history of the Ho Chi Minh era in the new era, the era of strong, civilized, prosperous and rise of the nation.
The 8th time being held, the Award not only shows the rich creativity and endless artistic labor of artists, intellectuals, and journalists, but also vividly reflects the study and work of Uncle Ho in life.
In recent years, the Award has become a regular activity of literary and artistic associations, journalism, publishing, culture, and arts, attracting more and more cadres, Party members and people across the country to participate.
With more than 1,500 works eligible for award consideration among thousands of works, the entries were carefully, seriously, democratically, scientifically selected through many levels and award committees.
Synthesizing the preliminary judging results, the Central Specialized Council reviewed 269 works, including 12 A prizes, 56 B prizes, 99 C prizes, 102 Encouragement prizes, and rewarded 46 outstanding collectives and individuals in promotional activities.
Among them, many works were composed by foreign collectives and individuals, including songs written about President Ho Chi Minh by the late musician, people's artist, revolutionary hero of Venezuela; the Portrait of President Ho Chi Minh by a French artist and the Ho Chi Minh Space Exhibition of the Museum of History Living in France.
In particular, organizing the Award for Composition, Promotion of Literary, Artistic, and Journalism Works on the topic of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style" is one of the outstanding activities with strong influence, attracting the attention of many journalists, artists, intellectuals, Vietnamese people at home and abroad, as well as foreign authors and international friends.
