Manh Quan returns to primetime dramas with the role of Hao in "Sao Kim ban tim Sao Hoa".

"I think actors or anyone working in the arts want to be complimented for being young and beautiful (he laughed). Appearance is an advantage for me in my career, but it is also a disadvantage. Because looking too young can cause actors to be stereotyped into a certain type of role.
During a long time playing that type of character, there were times when I realized that I had not completely escaped the role, and the director often fixed me with that type of role. Therefore, I always want to try new types of roles, except for the role of a handsome guy, so that the audience does not find it boring and monotonous," Manh Quan said.
When Manh Quan acted with Diem Hang in "Sao Kim ban tim sao hoa", many viewers said they were moved, feeling like the Trang - Quan couple in "Nhat ky Vang Anh" had a happy ending.
After many times of being together on screen, Manh Quan and Diem Hang have become more mature and serious. The two have kept in touch and become close since the movie "Nhat ky Vang Anh".

The actor shared: "That maturity was shown right from reading the script. In the previous film, when Diem Hang and I rehearsed the script, we sometimes teased each other, and when we started acting, we sometimes still made jokes.
Now, when we are more mature, we both understand that we can joke around outside, but when working, we have to focus and be serious, from reading the script to practicing lines. When the scene ends, we relax and joke around with each other. I think that is the obvious maturity of Hang and I."
Manh Quan was once associated with the image of the grumpy, hot-tempered “Quyet dai ca” in "5S Online". The 2018 film "Quynh Doll" marked Manh Quan's return to primetime television.
"When I accepted to participate in "Quynh bup be", I felt a lot of pressure. Almost every day after filming, I sat reading the script until the next morning. I read and reread the scenes of the following filming days, reciting them by heart to better grasp the character's emotions.
But because for a long time I did sitcom format, with a different rhythm, different way of speaking, not putting too much emotion, so I got used to it. When I started returning to TV dramas, I was overwhelmed," Manh Quan confided.
After that, he continuously appeared in "Ve nha di con", "Lua am", "Loi ve mien hoa" (2022). The actor hopes to take on more unique and in-depth roles to affirm his ability.
