On the morning of September 2, the National parade and parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (A80) ended with a special art performance, where music, light and millions of hearts sang together in the sacred national pride.
Vietnam has a 4,000-year history, a land of eternal feats, of steadfast people in building and defending the country. The sound of the river drum today resounds continuously from Bach Dang, Chi Lang, Dong Da to the autumn of the 1945 Revolution, when the entire nation rose up to gain independence, that echo awoke the pride in the history of building and defending the country, affirming the strong will and the eternal strength of solidarity of the Vietnamese people.
The harmony of national pride

Right after the Rally and parade, 80 outstanding artists from all over the country sang loudly in the emotional joint show.
At the opening, child singer Thuy Tien sang "Tien hon ca", followed by a performance of "Giai an hoa" by singer My Tam, bringing a strong source of inspiration for patriotism.
In particular, when President Ho Chi Minh's historical reading resounded in the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, all forces solemnly turned towards the red flag with a yellow star, together held the flag and walked silently in emotion.
The artists performed a 15-minute medley, combining many musical genres: traditional, folk, youth music... to create a colorful harmony. 5 songs were sung at Ba Dinh Square including "I am a Vietnamese", "Proud breathing", "Vietnam prosperity is bright", "Vietnam! Let's step up to glory together" and "The Song of the War".
The songs praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the Fatherland and the strong aspiration for Vietnam are performed through many generations of artists: People's Artist Quoc Hung, Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Phuong Nga, Dao To Loan, Pham Khanh Ngoc... along with young singers such as My Tam, Hoa Minzy, Duc Phuc, Erik, Phuong My Chi, Duong Hoang Yen...

Notably, after My Tam's performance, the singers sang together in "Success of Vietnam is Bright" - composed by young composer buitruonglinh. The rap part brings a new breath with lyrics praising the history and solidarity of 54 ethnic groups.
Singer Tung Duong and the artists continued with "Vietnam, let's step forward to glory", sending a message to today's generation to continue our ancestors, unite to contribute, and bring the nation forward.
The highlight of the program is the harmonious intersection between traditional culture and modern music, depicting the image of a Vietnam rich in identity but always expanding and integrating.
Artists moved when performing at Ba Dinh Square

Many artists could not hide their emotions when participating in the grand ceremony. Sharing with Lao Dong newspaper reporters, My Tam called this a "great honor in the sacred moment of the nation".
Phuong My Chi said she was honored and proud to be one of the very young artists participating in the program.
As one of the performing artists, Hoang Bach confided: "This will definitely be one of the most memorable moments in my artistic life".
For the male singer, participating in the A80 mission is a recognition of the efforts over 20 years of working and the correct orientation of his entire crew since starting the project "Vietnam Heart" more than a year ago.
The singer added: I have never accepted a performance invitation that made me so nervous. I recall memories from more than 35 years ago, when I was a teenager and went from Nam Dinh (now Ninh Binh province) to Hanoi to perform at the National Children's Festival and then visited Uncle Ho's Mausoleum. After a long, challenging but also very interesting journey, now being able to perform in a sacred event, I am very happy and proud.
Dr. Meritorious Artist Tan Nhan, Head of the Vocal Department of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, emphasized that the program has a blend of traditional and contemporary music, bringing novelty and appeal while still fully conveying the spirit of solidarity, aspiration and national pride.
