Sharing after the A80 task rehearsal on the morning of August 30 to prepare for the 80th anniversary of National Day on September 2, actress Thu Quynh emotionally recalled the most unforgettable memory.
80 years have just passed, a big day, I felt all the fatigue disappeared. But the most memorable memory in the rehearsal was when I and artists from the cultural and sports sector had to run on Quan Thanh Street, head to Hung Vuong Street to get to the Ba Dinh Square stage on time as planned, Thu Quynh said.
The audience standing on both sides of the road continuously enthusiastically cheered for the artists. Not only the cultural - sports block, many other parade blocks also have to "run the water" to keep up with the time.
"Some young people have whole shoes falling off, many women go high heels, some wear Western shoes, many people have scratched their feet. The audience also jokingly calls us show runners, or individual students who go to school late (laugh).
People joked that this is a block of "not roaming trends but content coming to you", because just running becomes a skits. That was a tired but happy memory that I would never forget, the actress recalled.
To enter Ba Dinh Square in time, all artists in the block tried their best, even the older People's Artist and Meritorious Artist.
Thu Quynh started the rehearsal day at 2:00 a.m. on August 30, gathering at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, then present at the Quan Thanh area at 3:00 a.m.
"Last night, I had to wear makeup from 11:30 p.m. After getting my hair done, I didn't dare lie down to sleep for fear of losing my hair, and could only sleep for about an hour. When I ran, I had a lot of sweat and eyes, my shirt was wet, but when I passed the historic Ba Dinh Square, my heart was filled with pride, Thu Quynh added.
In previous training sessions, Thu Quynh was also chosen to hold the leading license plate in the cultural - sports sector, at that time there were no supporting model cars.
I feel very proud. Although he suffered a muscle pain for 2 days afterwards, when thinking about an important event, that bit of fatigue was insignificant. Being in the A80 mission is a great honor, the difficulties are only small compared to the dedication of previous generations, the actress expressed.
Thu Quynh was born in 1988, coming from a family with an artistic tradition. She graduated from Hanoi University of Theatre and Cinema and worked at the Youth Theater.
Thu Quynh is a familiar actress on the small screen through the films "Quynh Doll", "ve nha di con", "Huong tinh tinh", "Cuoc tuong ngang", "Cuoc tu cong luoc", " Cha ta, nguoi thuc"...
