The 1st World Cultural Festival in Hanoi, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People's Committee, took place from October 10 to 12 at the Thang Long Imperial City Heritage Center - a World Cultural Heritage recognized by UNESCO.


Many special art programs took place on the stage on the 7th day, bringing the audience a colorful cultural space. From Quan Ho, Cheo, monochord solo to Ao Dai, Vietnamese traditional costumes and international art exchange performances - all created an emotional sound and image party.
Art troupes from Thailand, Laos, UAE, Palestine, Japan, Russia, Mongolia, Venezuela, Iran and Pakistan contributed to bringing impressive performances imbued with the identity of each country.

In particular, the performance of the "Fragrance of the Golden Eagle" Ao Dai collection made a strong impression when recreating traditional costumes with the elegant and sophisticated beauty of ancient Hanoians. The collection not only arouses memories of a brilliant aesthetic time but also shows the passion to revive and honor Vietnamese beauty.
Another highlight is the performance recreating traditional ancient weddings, with the participation of many amateur models of many ages, creating a lively and close atmosphere.

Outside the stage, the cultural - culinary fair space gathering dozens of international booths has attracted a large number of visitors. Visitors can enjoy cuisine of different countries, admire typical cultural features and experience traditional costumes such as hanbok, kimono or sari India.
Experiential activities such as sharpening on Do paper, artistic pruning, and making pig's feet are also loved by many young people, bringing relaxing moments while nurturing love for heritage and national culture.
Among the typical activities of the festival, the international film screening program is highlighted, introducing outstanding cinematic works of Vietnam and the world.

The program took place at the Thang Long Imperial City Hall, from 9:00 - 21:00 on October 11 - 12, serving cinema-loving audiences in a cultural and historical space.
This is an opportunity for the public to explore world cinema in a space bearing a strong historical imprint, where art becomes a bridge over all language and geographical boundaries.
From short clips and videos to 109.-minute films selected to introduce and promote images of Vietnam and neighboring countries such as Belarus, the UAE, Sri Lanka, Libya... are classified mainly for all age groups. Some works are marked T13 (for audiences aged 13 and over) such as The Princess (Cong Nuong, 109 minutes long), "Anukul" (21 minutes long). The film Bastard (Kneel, 16 minutes long) is for audiences over 16 years old.
The audience will have a tour through the screen with special works such as The Story of the UAE, 10 Most Interesting Activities to Experience in Mongolia, Elegant Havana, Eternal Homeland of Hurricanes, Little documents: Fano costume festival or Underground stories, Flow of water, City of the Flower Garden, The guitar on the River...
