According to Money S, data provided by the official transaction system of the Korean Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on April 19 showed that a real estate owned by actor Park Bo Gum has witnessed an incredible price increase.
Data shows that an apartment at Gyeonghuigung Xi 2 Complex in Hongpa-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, where Park Bo Gum currently resides, was sold for 2.54 billion won (11th) on March 21. This is a record high price for this type of real estate.
Compared to May last year, about a year ago, the same apartment was sold for about 1.95 billion won to 2.05 billion won. Thus, the apartment has increased in price by about 500 million won (about 9.1 billion VND) after only 1 year.
Gyeonghuigung Xi Apartment is located in a highly sought-after neighborhood in Seoul, as it is very well connected to many important areas of the city, including Gangnam, Mapo and Yeouido. Park Bo Gum is said to have moved from the Mok-dong area to the neighborhood in 2019 to get closer to his filming and working locations.
A 59m2 apartment in Gyeonghuigung Xi 2 was sold for a record fee of 1.85 billion won (ground level 15) last month, and a 101m2 apartment also broke the record in February with a selling price of up to 2.73 billion won (ground level 7).
An industry insider said that Park Bo Gum is expected to continue to benefit from the added value of this property, as it is located near the historic Gyeonghuigung Palace, enjoying the natural environment right in the city center and has a great transportation network.
Meanwhile, recently, Park Bo Gum became the hottest actor on the Korean screen when playing the lead role in Netflix's drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines". He plays Gwan Sik in his youth - Ae Sun's (IU) husband.
In addition, the actor was chosen as the ambassador for the hanbok promotion program called " Hanbok Wave 2025", co-organized by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Korean handicraft Fund. Park Bo Gum is the first actor to participate in this campaign.
