Despite thunderstorms, many people still flocked to the center of Ho Chi Minh City to watch the fireworks display.
Mr. Tran Minh Phuc (residing in Dien Hong ward) shared: "Although it rains, my whole family still goes because National Day is a special occasion, both for fun and for children to feel the festive atmosphere".

Similarly, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hang (residing in Xom Chieu ward) said that she and a group of friends have been in the city center since the afternoon.
"We want to record the anniversary of the Fatherland's 80th anniversary of independence. Although it was raining, we still tried to wait to see the fireworks display, I felt very proud - Ms. Thu Hang shared.



In Ho Chi Minh City, there are 4 artistic fireworks display locations, including 3 high-altitude and 1 low-altitude locations. Fireworks will be launched from 9:00 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on September 2.
Tonight, in the center of Binh Duong New City (Binh Duong Ward), a fireworks display will also take place to celebrate National Day on September 2. Thousands of people gathered on Le Loi, Vo Van Kiet, Hung Vuong... streets in Binh Duong ward to watch the fireworks display.



In Thuy Van Square (Vung Tau Ward), the weather is also unfavorable with prolonged thunderstorms. However, hundreds of people still waved in the rain to watch the art program and the high-altitude fireworks display.

On the evening of September 2, at Tay Do Park, Can Tho City, when the September Revolution 80th Anniversary Meeting Program was successful and National Day was taking place, the weather was complicated, with showers changing. However, people still carried the rain to wait for the moment of artistic fireworks.

According to the reporter, the crowd was bustling to find a place to enter the park to choose the most beautiful location for themselves and their families to watch the brilliant performance in the sky, celebrating the national holiday.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hieu (27 years old, An Binh ward) said: "I went here with my friends at 6pm to watch the fireworks display. This year, I did not have the opportunity to go to Hanoi to see parades and parades, but the spirit of affection is still strong among the people of the West. That is why even if it rains, I feel happy and accept it".
Also coming to Tay Do Park with her family to watch the fireworks, Ms. Dang Thanh Ngoc (Ninh Kieu ward) expressed: "If the patriotism spreads, it won't be a problem if there is a little rain. I think with weather like this, I will have more motivation to wait for the special fireworks display".
Currently, the weather in Can Tho has not changed positively and people are flocking to Tay Do Park. Under the pouring rain, thousands of people are still waiting patiently, eagerly, waiting for the moment the sky lights up with clusters of brilliant fireworks, promising a complete National Day night.



Hanoi: People arrive early to watch the fireworks display
According to the Hanoi People's Committee, the area in front of My Dinh Stadium will host high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks displays at 9:00 p.m.
Since the afternoon, many people have gathered in the area in front of the Water Sports Palace - National Sports Complex to choose a beautiful location to watch the fireworks.

Sharing with Lao Dong reporter, Mr. Nguyen Van Luan's family (Bac Tu Liem) was present since 3pm, preparing snacks, raincoats, and tarpaulins to wait to watch the fireworks on the evening of September 2. Before that, his family waited all night on Trang Thi Street to watch the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day.
"In the past few days, my family has been almost away from home, always enthusiastically participating in national happy day events. Because it has only been 40 years since such a big event has occurred, we want to bring you into the bustling atmosphere, so you know how beautiful peace is. From the parade area, we moved to My Dinh Stadium," said Mr. Nguyen Van Luan.

Meanwhile, from 6am, many families spread tarps, ate, and waited for events to take place at My Dinh Stadium.


People are eagerly waiting for the art program under the theme of Under the Golden Star, taking place at 8:00 p.m. on September 2 in front of My Dinh National Stadium.
The program was chaired by Thang Long Song and Dance Theater, in coordination with the Department of Culture and Sports, and the People's Committee of Tu Liem Ward.

The program was organized with the message: "A flag strip - A million drops of blood - A million hearts" to arouse patriotism, national pride and connect the heroic past with today's young generation.
The program has a combination of spoken plays, singing... with many songs about heroic soldiers such as Vo Thi Sau, Dang Thuy Tram expressed through the voices of Thanh Ngoc, Nam Cuong, Duyen Quynh, bringing deep emotions and conveying meaningful historical messages.
