Since August 29, the leaders and people of the city have offered incense at the Martyrs' Cemetery and offered flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Museum.
During the days from August 30 to September 1, the traditional festival in Hue Nam Palace took place solemnly with an estimated attendance of 20 - 30 thousand people, creating a strong influence for the community.
In particular, on the morning of September 2, the 36th traditional boat racing on the Huong River opened the 10th Hue City Sports Festival, attracting tens of thousands of participants and cheers.
On the evening of September 2 at Ngo Mon Square, a special art program to welcome the National Day and a high-altitude fireworks display with 1,000 bright fruits of the Hue Monument will bring unforgettable moments to the large audience.
At the same time, Ba Trieu Culture - Sports Square will stand out when inaugurating a modern water music system, raising the level of a new entertainment space for the community and tourists.
On a national scale, from August 28 to September 5, Hue participated in the National Achievements Exhibition in Hanoi with an exhibition hall of 645 m2 with the theme "Hue - Heritage, identity and vision for green development". The exhibition area introduces heritage culture, ao dai, cuisine and the program "The quintessence of royal flowers - The flavor of the ancient capital", affirming the position of the brand Hue - the culinary capital of Vietnam.
Dr. Phan Thanh Hai - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City emphasized that this series of events is not only an occasion of historical gratitude but also affirms Hue's position as a unique cultural and tourism center of Vietnam in the new era.
