After 3 days of release, the film "Great Reward: Huyen An" has a disappointing Douban score (a score for the quality of works by Douban application users in China). Accordingly, the film only achieved 5.9 points with more than 83,000 reviews.
The film's revenue only reached over 201 million yuan (about 728 billion VND), much lower than expected. The sales are expected to reach 590 million yuan (over VND 2,000 billion) when it ends.
This is a rather modest achievement for the film that brings together famous stars such as Zhang Ziyi, Yang Mi, Zhao Li Yi, Li Xian, Yi Yang Qianxi... In addition, the film is also directed by director Tran Kha Tan - the "boss" of Hong Kong (China) cinema.

Previously, "Tuong Canh" attracted attention when it had content inspired by one of the four great festivals of the Dan Quoc period. The film was introduced and screened at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival but did not participate in the competition.
Not long after, the work continued to be selected for the opening screening at the 27th Shanghai International Film Festival. Here, the film received many mixed reviews and comments from experts.
According to Sohu, the reason for "The Great Comedy"'s failure was because of the long, complicated script, and the dispersed character system. Instead of focusing only on solving the murder case of Chu Chiem Thi (Chuong Tu Di), director Tran Kha Tan delves into the lives of supporting characters such as Vuong Hua Mai (Duong Mich), Tay Lam (Trieu Le Dinh)...
The continuous noise of comparing Trieu Le Dinh and Duong Mich also makes viewers bored. Zhao Liying's performance was disappointing, sparking rumors that director Tran Kha Tan invited her to participate just to "create heat" for the film.

With low revenue, the producer of "The Great balance" is predicted to have a solid loss. Except for the female lead Zhang Ziyi, other actors will find it difficult to win awards thanks to this film.
Part 1 of the film is currently showing in more than 100 Chinese cinemas, with content revolving around the investigation process, first-instance trial, revealing portraits of the main characters.
Part 2 will continue with the trial results and delve into the fate of each character in the context of historical transfer. The official release date for this film has not been announced yet.
