Rose (Blackpink) continues to dominate female idol reputation

The Korean Business Research Institute has just announced the January 2025 brand reputation rankings for members of Kpop girl groups.

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 712 K-pop girl group members, using data from December 19, 2024 to January 19, 2025.

Blackpink’s Rose continues to dominate the top spot for the third consecutive month, with an overwhelming score of 11,082,958 points. High-ranking phrases in Rose’s keyword analysis include “APT.”, “Billboard,” and “single chart.”

The highest-ranking related terms included “climb back,” “record,” and “soar.” Rose’s positivity-negativity analysis showed 92.83% positive reactions.

Meanwhile, aespa's Karina maintained her 2nd place this month, with a brand reputation index of 6,262,500 points.

IVE's Jang Won Young maintained 3rd place with a score of 6,067,563 points.

Blackpink's Jennie ranked 4th with a brand reputation index of 5,036,304 points in January.

Finally, ITZY's Yuna rose to fifth place, after seeing a staggering 143.77% increase in her score from last month, bringing her total score for January 2025 to 4,025,897.
