On January 19, Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to deploy decisions on personnel work.
At the conference, Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung presented the Politburo's decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Quan Minh Cuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of the 15th term of Dong Nai province - to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term. At the same time, Mr. Cuong was also appointed to join the Party Committee of Military Region I.
Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, born in 1969, was trained in the police profession and continued his master's and doctorate studies. He grew up in the Lao Cai Provincial Police Force, then worked at the Ministry of Public Security.
In 2005, he was seconded to the Central Internal Political Protection Department, and then successively held the positions of Deputy Director, Director, and Director of the Internal Political Protection Department. After this Department merged into the Central Organization Department, he continued to hold the roles of Deputy Director of the Central Organization Department, and recently Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee before being transferred to Cao Bang.
