Rose continues to surpass Jang Won Young, Jennie thanks to APT's appeal

Recently, the Korean Business Research Institute announced the August 2025 brand reputation rankings of Kpop girl group members.

The rankings were determined through an analysis of consumer participation, media coverage, and community awareness indexes of 725 Kpop female idols, using data collected from July 17 to August 17.

Notably, the top 3 positions of the rankings this month have not changed compared to last month.

Rose (Blackpink) still maintained her No. 1 position with a brand reputation index of 6,815,907 points, up 15.8% compared to July.

Roses top-ranking words in her keyword analysis included Jump, APT., Billboard. Phrases related to the highest rankings include "record", "commemorate" and "prove". The positivity-negativity analysis of Rose shows a positivity reaction rate of 93.42%.

It can be seen that after Blackpink returned with the single "Jump", Rose also had a strong comeback with 2 consecutive months of topping the hottest female Kpop idol chart.

However, Rose's reputation is still maintained by the persistent appeal of the global hit "APT." featuring Bruno Mars. This song continues to break Billboard's record and is preparing to reach the milestone of 2 billion views on YouTube.

Recently, among Rose's 8 nominations at the MTV Video Music Awards, there were 7 nominations for APT. including major categories such as video of the Year, Song of the Year.

Meanwhile, behind Rose is still Jang Won Young (IVE) in 2nd place on the reputation rankings, with 6,441,557 points, up 13.41% over the previous month.

Jennie (Blackpink) maintained her 3rd place on the list with a score of 6,280,705, up 17.13% since July.

An Yu Jin (IVE) ranked 4th with 4,186,388 points and Winter (aespa) entered the Top 5 with 3,316,247 points.
