Jennie Blackpink's solo debut has become one of the most successful solo debuts of a K-pop artist, as she continuously breaks new records and expands existing records on major music platforms.
Thanks to streaming and audio data from various platforms, including Spotify, YouTube Music..., Jennie's hit "Like Jennie" was honored as "Most streamed Song of 2025 by a Female Artist Worldwide" to date, after surpassing "Abracadobra" by American pop star Lady Gaga.
"Like Jennie" also holds the record for "Best-selling song of 2025 by a K-pop artist in the US in the first half of this year," with more than 500,000 copies sold in this country.
On the other hand, Jennie's album "Ruby" has been hailed by many professional media outlets and prestigious magazines, including Billboard, Rolling Stone, Complex and NME, as "The Best Album of a K-pop artist in the first half of 2025".
Meanwhile, Pitchfork - a famous music website in the industry, honored Jennie's "Ruby" as "The Best Album of All Time for a K-pop solo artist".
