Recently, Sehun (EXO) became the first foreign artist to appear on the cover of L'Officiel China magazine, published in November. This is also the first photo set of the male singer after his military discharge (late September).
Notably, according to statistics, Sehun's L'Officiel magazine sold 214,776 copies in the first 24 hours, earning 13,960,440 yuan (about 51.6 billion VND).
This achievement helped Sehun break his own record, setting a milestone for the Kpop artist with the highest sales of a magazine in the Chinese market.
Previously, Sehun also held a sales record with sense magazine selling 214,461 copies in the first 24 hours, earning 15,397,025 yuan (about 56.94 billion VND).
Despite a nearly 2-year hiatus from his military service, Sehun still affirmed his solid position in the billion-people market after his comeback.

EXO was originally a Kpop group with many Chinese members: Ngo Diec Pham (Kris), Loc Ham (Luhan), Hoang Tu Thao (Tao) and Truong Nghe Hung (Lay). Therefore, the group attracted a large number of fans in this country right after its debut.
The proof is that Chinese fans play an important role in making EXO one of the biggest-selling boy groups in Kpop.
In the EXO group, after the 4 Chinese members, Sehun is the most popular face in China.
The male idol born in 1994 is loved for his handsome appearance, the "taste" of Chinese female fans. He is also popular with fans for studying Chinese diligently and participating in films, appearing in many Chinese fashion magazines.
EXO is currently active with only 8 members, after 4 Chinese members left the group. However, Sehun's reputation in China has not declined.
When he appeared on the cover of L' Officiel China magazine, Sehun shared on his personal Instagram account with a status in Chinese: "This is the first official magazine photo shoot since my discharge from the army, I am both excited and looking forward to it.
I am very happy to work with L' Officiel, thinking about fans who will like the photo series, I feel very happy to take photos.
Under the post, Truong Nghe Hung left a comment praising Sehun's Chinese proficiency. He called Sehun "a Chinese master".
Truong Nghe Hung left EXO in 2022 but still maintained a good relationship with the members. In early October, Sehun went to Beijing (China) to support Truong Nghe Hung's concert.

In the concert, Truong Nghe Hung performed the song "Miracles in December" (Chinese version) and said this was a performance for special guest - Sehun.
After that, EXO's official Instagram, X and Weibo accounts simultaneously posted a group photo of Sehun and Truong Nghe Hung.
This has fans speculating that in the upcoming comeback of EXO, Truong Nghe Hung may participate.
