The upcoming Netflix drama Genie, Make A wish continues to attract attention when it released new images revealing the relationship between the two main characters played by Kim Woo Bin and Suzy.
"Genie, Make A wish" tells the story of the mysterious god Genie - Thanen Den (Kim Woo Bin), who wakes up from a thousand years of sleep to give 3 wishes that change the life of Ka Young (Suzy), a cold young girl who suddenly becomes the new owner of the Dieu lamp.
In the process of trying to adapt to the modern world with their monsterious nature, Genie and Ka Young - a girl who is always reserved in terms of emotions, were caught up in a surprising and enchanting romance.
In the new series of photos, there is a scene of Ka Young holding a knife with a cold face in her school uniform, showing the insensitivity that has been formed since she was a child.

Another scene showed a surprising chemical reaction between Ka Young and Genie. Even when Genie kept hanging around like a soul, Ka Young kept her calm and focused only on her breakfast.
Genie is determined to transform people with wishes, while Ka Young seems like a solid wall that cannot be overcome.
But another scene revealed the romance and closeness when the two looked straight into each other's eyes. This made the audience even more curious about the changes that have occurred in their relationship.
For Kim Woo Bin and Suzy, these are all types of characters that actors have never played in their careers.

Kim Woo Bin described Genie as "a character that is difficult to describe in a single word. He is full of energy, strong, sometimes cruel but also small, shy, and even cute, a character with many charms.
Woo Bin added about how he transformed into the character of Than Den: "At first glance, he looks like a human being and acts like a human being, but because he is a soul, not a human being, I wanted to express something a little different in behavior, tone, expression, figure and style".
About Ka Young, Suzy shared that this character is "an insensitive person, raised by her grandmother, living by the rules and habits that she taught".
"She's not as kind as others and is more fearsome than cute, but by living by the rules, she eventually becomes more straightforward than anyone else," the actress added.
When playing Ka Young, Suzy "tried not to express emotions". The actress explained, "Ka Young learned to fake instead of being empathy when others spoke to her, so she was a bit mechanical, cold and rigid. When reading the script, I tried to approach it with ka Young-style thinking as much as possible.
Genie, Make a wish is scheduled to premiere on October 3 on Netflix worldwide.
