The fact that former HYBE trainee Youngseo debuted in the new music group Allday Project of The Black Label Company, headed by producer Teddy, has caused a stir in recent days.
On June 13, The Black Label released an official video introducing the 5 members: Annie, Bailey, Youngseo, tarzzan, Woochan. The video reveals the process of trainees pursuing their passion for music, as well as the difficulties in the journey to create a unique mixed music group for men and women as it is now.
Youngseo, born in 2005, is one of the particularly notable faces. Because there have been many rumors about her debut in a 4-member girl group of YG Entertainment or a new group of The Black Label, or even a group of High Up Entertainment.
Youngseo confessed that she knew about these rumors but still had to stay silent, waiting for the day the band was officially announced.
Before his debut, Youngseo had been a trainee at various companies for about 6-7 years.
In 2019, Youngseo joined Source Music (a subsidiary of HYBE), starting to practice with members of the N-Team project, including current NewJeans members and some other trainees.
After N-Team delayed their debut, Youngseo is said to have left Source Music around 2022.
In 2023, she appeared in the idol selection program "RU Next?", co-produced by JTBC and Belift Lab (a subsidiary of HYBE). Finally, Youngseo won 2nd place overall, appearing in the pre-debut lineup of the group ILLIT. Youngseo is considered a talented trainee and could become ILLIT's "trump card".
But in January 2024, just two months before ILLIT's launch, Belift Lab suddenly announced that their exclusive contract with Youngseo had ended after discussions. Fans are still curious about why Youngseo left.

In The Black Label's video, Youngseo did not explain the reason for parting ways with the ILLIT lineup. She only mentioned that, after leaving HYBE, she was quite worried because she was a bit older than the general level of trainees at that time. She didn't know what to do next.
But Youngseo quickly regained his spirit. She submitted her application to other companies, then successfully passed The Black Label's audition.
Regarding her passion for singing, Youngseo said she has loved music since she was a child, and she soon thought that "being a celebrity is wonderful". When recruited by a Kpop company and became a trainee, Youngseo found idol work very suitable for his personality.
