The Black Label Company's all-female mixed music group ALLDAY ProJECT, fronted by producer Teddy, is set to debut with the single "Famous" on June 23.
Recently, The Black Label posted a video introducing the group's 5 official members: Annie, Bailey, Youngseo, tarzzan and Woochan.
In particular, member Annie attracted special attention for her origin. Annie's real name is Moon Seo Yoon, born in 2002.
She is the daughter of Chung Yoo Kyung - Chairman of the department store business of Shinsegae Group, the largest luxury retail and distribution empire in Korea.
Her grandmother is Lee Myung Hee - Chairman of Shinsegae Group and the youngest daughter of Samsung Group founder Lee Byung Chul. Therefore, Annie is considered the 4th generation of the Samsung family's chaebol.
However, her journey to pursue her dream of becoming a singer was not favorable from the beginning. She had to fight with her family's opinions to debut in the group allDAY PROJECT.
Annie shared that since she was 7 years old, she accidentally watched the MV "Lollipop" by 2NE1 and Big Bang, a new world opened up before her eyes. At that time, Annie was determined to certainly be able to do what she wanted like them.
One day, Annie said to her mother: "What if I were a singer?". Her mother just laughed and said: "This is really empty". mother's answer made Annie think that she could not pursue a singing career.
About 2-3 years later, Annie once again talked more seriously to her mother about her desire to become a singer. But her mother still determinedly did not agree. That hurt her a little.
When she entered grade 11-12, she was the time when her family opposed her the most strongly. But she is determined not to give up. Seeing her daughter's determination, Annie's mother told her that if she passed the university entrance exam, she would convince her family to agree to let her become a singer.
Since then, Annie has tried to study hard day and night, even taking advantage of sleep. In the end, she passed the entrance exam to Columbia University - one of the oldest universities in the US.
Annie confessed that her mother did not believe that she would pass the university entrance exam. Because she is in the dance club every day and everyone says she does not spend any time studying.
Everyone thought she was not serious about pursuing the path to becoming a singer, so they were even more skeptical.
Therefore, to prove her sincerity and desire to make her dream come true, she tried to express as much as possible.
Also in the video, Annie shared that since the first time she met theAllDAY PROJECT members, she had not felt any shyness. She was looking forward to the 5 members' collaboration and thinking about what they would do together.
Because everyone has their own personality, allDAY PROJECT is still on the journey to create harmony. Annie believes that this is a very good thing in terms of art.
