Recently, Han So Hee continued to show her close relationship with actress Jeon Jong Seo, who collaborated with her in the upcoming film “Project Y,” despite controversies and suspicions of a rift in their friendship.
On social networks, they are known as friends born in 1994 and have very compatible styles.
But recently, Han So Hee's management company 9ato Entertainment clarified rumors about her age.
The company said that Han So Hee was actually born in 1993, not 1994. Previously, on information portals and media, Han So Hee's year of birth was always recorded as 1994.
The agency explained, “When Han So Hee was in fourth grade, she was forced to move to Ulsan due to her mother’s legal issues. She then spent a year at home, unable to continue her studies. After her mother was imprisoned, she returned to Wonju and re-enrolled in fourth grade.”
It seems that the re-enrollment process caused confusion about Han So Hee's age.
Four years ago, the "Nevertheless" beauty shared about her family situation. She revealed: "I grew up with my grandmother since I was 5 years old after my parents divorced. And I haven't contacted my mother since then, but in the end I still had to pay off all her debts."
In early September, Han So Hee's mother was arrested for operating 12 illegal gambling websites in Ulsan, Wonju, and many other places from 2021 until now.
In response to the controversy, Han So Hee's management company stated: "Han So Hee herself learned about this through the news and has no words to express her sorrow. We would like to reiterate that this incident has absolutely nothing to do with the actress and this was her mother's independent action."
According to Korean media, although Han So Hee has severed ties with her mother, her mother has repeatedly asked for money since her daughter became a famous actress.
She even used a bank account in her daughter's name to defraud 85 million won, forcing Han So Hee to pay the debt on her mother's behalf.
