According to Mydaily, on the evening of October 29, former CEO of ADOR (NewJeans management company) Min Hee Jin appeared on the talk show "School of Music" by music critic Kim Young Dae.
During the conversation, Min Hee Jin mentioned BTS's V, and said that V is one of her biggest sources of encouragement.
Min Hee Jin recalled: "V sometimes calls me from the army. He is a very smart person and has a bright personality. When things happen to me, he calls and asks, 'Are you okay?'
Even on my birthday, he sent me a congratulatory message early in the morning. His kindness and warmth touched me a lot.”
In addition, Min Hee Jin said that when she decided to hold a press conference in April, after the conflict with HYBE Group broke out, V showed concern for her.
Last September, V collaborated with Min Hee Jin for his solo album “Layover.” The NewJeans producer took charge of the entire production process of V’s solo album, including music, choreography, design, and promotion.
At that time, Min Hee Jin shared: “I received an offer to collaborate at the end of 2022. At first, I hesitated because of my schedule, but I was attracted to V's attitude and passion, as well as his unique tone of voice, it was really interesting.”
In another development, on October 29, the Seoul Central District Court rejected the application for a temporary injunction to convene an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of ADOR and reappoint ADOR CEO, submitted by Min Hee Jin on September 13.
Following the court's decision, HYBE stated, "We are grateful for the court's wise judgment and will focus on returning ADOR to a normal state, promoting multi-labeling, and supporting artist activities."
However, Min Hee Jin's side said they will consider pursuing her rights further if her CEO position is not restored.
