Before the 72nd Miss World final, 12 contestants had entered the top 40 directly thanks to winning the sub-competitions "Sports Beauty", "talented Beauty", "Confrontation Challenge", "supermodel" and "Compassionate Beauty".
In the "Sports Beauty" competition, the Estonian representative won and was the first person to win a ticket straight to the top 40.
The Indonesian representative is the next beauty to win a yellow ticket when she won the "talented Beauty" contest. She was also the winner of the "Beautiful Sister" contest in the Asia-Pacific region.
In the "Confrontation Challenge", the judges selected 4 winning contestants by continent including representatives of Trinh & Tobago, Türkiye, Wales, and Zambia.
In the "supermodel" competition, representatives of India, Ireland, Namibia, Martinique are the next 4 names to be named in the top 40.
The next 2 beauties to secure a place in the top 40 won the "Compassionate Beauty" contest: Puerto Rico representative and Uganda representative. The Welsh representative and the Indonesian representative also won this round but had a place in the top 40 in previous competitions.
In the final night, the Miss World jury will select 10 beauties from each continent to make up the top 40. From the top 40 you will find the top 20, top 8, top 4.
In the Asia - Pacific region, representatives of Indonesia and representatives of India have firmly grasped the final top 40 ticket. Miss Y Nhi will have to compete to overcome many strong opponents in the region such as the Philippines, Thailand... to go far.
