On June 14, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, the leader of Nam Dan District People's Committee said that he had decided to reward all teachers who achieved the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level (CSTDCS) in the 2024 - 2025 school year after Lao Dong Newspaper reflected on the concerns and worries among the teaching staff in the area.
"The district has decided to reward 100% of teachers who achieve the title of CSTDCS by schools that evaluate and evaluate them according to the correct process, but only not reward those who do not meet the conditions and standards" - a representative of Nam Dan District People's Committee affirmed.
This information makes many cadres and teachers in the district breathe a sigh of relief. Previously, on June 10, an urgent notice from the Department of Education and Training of Nam Dan district requested schools to review and adjust the list of tuition fees for reasons exceeding the estimated budget.

According to the report, the total estimated reward cost is more than 1.55 billion VND, exceeding 352 million VND compared to the allocation of 1.2 billion VND. An oral directive requiring schools to cut the rate of tuition fees to below 28% of the total number of advanced workers has caused many reactions among the teaching staff.
Principals of schools believe that applying "ceiling" titles to balance the budget is contrary to the spirit of the Law on Emulation and Commendation - which emphasizes "wherever achievements are achieved, rewards are given". Many teachers are concerned that if their titles are cut, they will lose the opportunity to raise their salary ahead of schedule or affect the emulation and appointment process.
After the reflection of Lao Dong Newspaper and recommendations from the grassroots, Nam Dan District People's Committee quickly held a meeting to resolve the problem. The decision to reward 100% of teachers who are considered to have achieved the title of CSTDCS is considered a reasonable step, in accordance with the law and promptly encourages workers in the education sector.
