Announcement from the Department of Education and Training, 8 valedictorians of the entrance exam for grade 10 of non-professional public high schools this year include:

2. Le Dieu Linh, Tan Dinh Secondary School.
3. Nguyen Quang Anh, Cau Giay Secondary School.
4. Do Manh Hung, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.
5. Nguyen Minh Huyen, Hanoi Star Inter-level.
6. Tran Minh Khue, Thanh Cong Secondary School.
7. Duong Gia Linh, Chu Van An Secondary School.
8. Nguyen Khanh Quynh, Be Tong Secondary School.

With the specialized system, the 2 top valedictorians with 48 points are:
1. Bui Ngoc Ha, Hanoi Star Inter-level School, majoring in Chemistry.
2. Nguyen Duc Khai, Archimedes Academy Secondary School, valedictorian of the Math Department.
The remaining specialized classes' valedictorians have reached 43.75 50 or higher, commonly at 45-46.

The 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi took place over two days, June 7-8, with nearly 103,000 candidates, of which about 13,000 candidates registered for the additional subject exam on June 9.
Four specialized schools admit 2,730 students, an increase of 500 students compared to last year. The total number of specialized classes is 78, an increase of 14 classes.
The admission score for grade 10 is from 24 - 42.75, the highest in the Chemistry class of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, and the lowest is the History class of Son Tay High School for the Gifted.
According to the admission principle of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, candidates who pass the first wish will not be admitted for the following wishes. The winning score for the 2nd and 3rd wishes must be 1 and 2 points higher than the 1st wishes. When lowering the benchmark, public high schools are allowed to admit students with 2nd and 3rd wishes who are eligible for admission.
It is expected that by July 8 at the latest, schools will receive exam results to issue to students. Students who wish to be re-examined must submit an application for re-examination from July 4-10.
No later than July 28, candidates will receive the results of the re-examination.
Admitted students complete online or in-person admission procedures from July 10-12. Schools that do not meet the quota will meet to review additional admission scores on July 17.
