Sharing about her learning process, Nhat Minh said that she rarely takes extra classes, often goes to the center to study an additional 2-3 sessions per week, the rest are at school and self-study.
Minh shared that since kindergarten, he has been doing addition and subtraction calculations in Math books. When he grew up, Minh found Math as a practical subject, helping him practice logical thinking and calmness. However, I do not particularly like any type of problem, because I think that each problem has its own advantages.
Before the 10th grade exam, Nhat Minh had won about 50 prizes in Mathematics at home and abroad. I also participated in the city-level excellent student competition for two consecutive years, winning second and first prizes.
Commenting on his students, Mr. Le Van Cuong, Vice Principal of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary and High School, said that Minh is modest, calm and confident - very important qualities of a Math student.
Mr. Cuong shared that Minh's special thing is that almost every exam has "cleared" the exam.
"Hopefully Minh can go far with Math" - Mr. Cuong expressed.
The two specialized schools that Minh gave to the "faculty" of Mathematics were both famous schools with a high competition rate.
This year, the University of Education High School for the Gifted has more than 5,700 candidates taking the exam, while the target is only 420. The Math class has a competition rate of nearly 1/10. The 10th grade entrance exam of the High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences has a success rate of more than 1/5.
Nhat Minh took the entrance exam to the High School for the Gifted in Natural Sciences, the High School for the Gifted in Hanoi - Amsterdam and Chu Van An. Minh said he is still waiting for the results from the other two schools, before deciding where to study.
