In particular, the school welcomed more than 3,000 new students of Course 64, new students of training programs linked to abroad, students studying while working, international students, and students studying at Hanoi Headquarters.
At the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong - Principal of Foreign Trade University affirmed that the 2025 - 2026 school year is a special school year, of great significance, marking the 65-year journey of formation and development of the school.
Sending congratulations and messages to the new students of Foreign Trade University, Associate Professor, Dr. Pham Thu Huong expressed:
"Entering the university environment is entering the journey of "learning to master" our maturity process, which is when we will gradually shape more clearly the "road" that we really want to choose, which is when we better understand what "dream water" is and what to do to achieve that dream.

At the ceremony, the school's leaders awarded certificates of merit and medals to new students with excellent academic achievements who were admitted to the Foreign Trade University in the regular university admission period in 2025.
Of which, two national A00 class valedictorians with a total absolute score of 30/30 are Nguyen Le Hien Mai (Phu Tho) and Nguyen Dieu Linh (Hung Yen) who have also chosen to study at Foreign Trade University.
In addition, 8 other students who are valedictorians of the entire school in the admission methods were also honored at the ceremony.
10 national valedictorians and valedictorians of the whole school have represented the new students - trainees to share their feelings, expectations and goals on the journey of the upcoming 4 years of university.
