On September 3, Mr. Pham Van Nam - Director of the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province - said that the construction progress of 7 inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in Ia O, Ia Chia, Ia Mo, Ia Puch, Ia Nan, Ia Pnon and Ia Dom border communes has been basically completed.
Up to now, 7 inter-level boarding schools have met the conditions to simultaneously inaugurate and open on September 5," Mr. Nam informed.
According to the plan, Ia Puch Primary and Secondary Boarding School was selected as a live television bridge point, connecting with the Central bridge point in the 2026-2027 school year Opening Ceremony.
At the ceremony, the Organizing Committee will award scholarships, bicycles, and gifts to support students; and donate computers to schools to serve poor students who overcome difficulties.
To prepare for the new school year, the Department of Education and Training of Gia Lai province has guided localities and educational institutions to carefully prepare the conditions for organizing the opening ceremony, ensuring that schools, campuses, landscapes and teaching equipment are fully equipped.
Mr. Pham Van Nam reminded heads of educational institutions not to arbitrarily mobilize donations and support to organize the opening ceremony of the new school year. Schools must thoroughly understand teachers, staff, students, and parents of students to strictly comply with traffic safety regulations.
For preschool and kindergarten educational institutions, opening ceremonies must be organized in the form of "Day to School for Children", flexible in duration and content, suitable to the psychological and physiological characteristics of children, creating a good impression on the first day of the new school year.
