On June 10, Quang Tri Department of Education and Training said that the preparation for the 2026 high school graduation exam has been thoroughly implemented, ensuring the necessary conditions for the exam to take place smoothly.
This is the first exam organized after arranging administrative units, with a significant increase in the number of candidates. The whole province has 21,707 registered candidates, an increase of more than 630 compared to 2025.
Due to the wider area and many changes in the organizational structure, the preparation for the exam raises many new requirements. Exam sites have basically completed the preparation of facilities, equipment, security and safety assurance plans and conditions to serve candidates.

To ensure the organization of the exam, the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and Department of Education and Training have issued many directing documents; established Provincial-level Exam Steering Committees, Exam Councils and professional committees; and assigned specific tasks to each member to ensure that all stages are implemented closely and in accordance with regulations.
The whole province arranges 63 official exam sites with 949 exam rooms. It is expected that nearly 3,880 officials, teachers, and staff will participate in organizing the exam. Police and medical forces are also mobilized to participate in stages from printing, transporting, and preserving exam papers to invigilating, grading, and re-examining.
The Department of Education and Training has organized training on regulations and exam nghiệp vụ for officials and teachers; deployed mock exams throughout the province; guided online exam registration and inspected preparation work at units. Exam rooms, reserve rooms, equipment systems and conditions serving the exam have all been carefully reviewed.
The education sector also coordinates with the police, health, electricity and local authorities to develop plans to ensure security, safety, disaster prevention and handling of situations arising during the exam period.
In order to inspect the preparation for the exam, on the morning of June 10, Mr. Le Hong Vinh, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, directly inspected some exam sites in the area.

Through inspection, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of responsibility and thorough preparation of the schools and forces participating in serving the exam.
In particular, for exam sites with a large number of ethnic minority students, many students from remote and isolated areas, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested units to pay attention to health care, ensure accommodation conditions and manage students throughout the exam period.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the exam sites to continue to closely coordinate with functional forces to ensure absolute security and safety; create a comfortable and confident psychology for candidates; and promptly support and handle arising situations, not allowing any candidates to encounter difficulties or affect their exam participation.
