Today, June 7, nearly 103,000 grade 9 students in Hanoi officially entered the race for tickets to public high schools. The first subject will be Literature.
Vu Minh Anh - a 9th grade student at Trung Vuong Secondary School, Hanoi predicts that in the context of the integration and development of artificial intelligence, he hopes that social theories will include this content.
"Maybe the test will require young people to master AI, how to solve difficulties and temptations in the learning process" - Minh Anh predicted.
Hoang Mai Chi - a student at Luong The Vinh Secondary School predicted that the exam will have content about the country because it is associated with many major events in the year such as the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.
"I really like Literature and spend a lot of time reviewing. I expect to get 9 points in this subject" - she said.
The 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi in 2025 will take place on June 7 and 8.
In the 2025 - 2026 school year, Hanoi has about 64% of students registered to take the entrance exam for grade 10 public high school.

This year's 10th grade entrance exam has some important changes, in which the new highlight is the way to calculate admission scores. In previous years, admission scores were calculated according to the formula: Math and Literature score coefficient 2, Foreign language score coefficient 1.
According to the new regulations of this year, admission scores will be calculated by the total score of three subjects, on a scale of 10, not multiplied by coefficient. This is a technical change, but it has a great impact on the assessment of exam results as well as the classification of students.
The new calculation method makes the general score expected to be lower than previous years, because the maximum score is only 30 instead of 50 as before. This poses challenges for the admission work, especially in ensuring fairness, transparency and objectivity.
Candidates should note that they are only allowed to carry: writing Butts, lines, pens, expenses, keyboards, compa, Graphics, drawing tools, handheld computers that do not have the function of drafting documents and do not have memory cards.
Thus, the new point in this year's exam is that candidates are not allowed to enter the Atlat exam room for geography, Circular table and soluble table.
The list of prohibited items includes: Coal papers, pens, alcoholic beverages, weapons, explosives/fireworks, documents, communication equipment (collection, information broadcasting, recording, recording), mobile phones and any items that can contain information for fraud.
These items are not only prohibited from being brought into the exam room, but are also prohibited from being brought into the waiting room.
One of the contents emphasized by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training is the exam test in the first 5 minutes after receiving the exam from the exam. If the problem is detected, it is deficient in pages, fuzzy prints, torn, technical errors ... Candidates must immediately notify the supervisor within 5 minutes from the beginning of calculating the exam time. After this time, if not reflected, candidates must take responsibility for themselves if there is an incident related to the exam.
Each exam spot has an original exam questions. If the feedback is prompt, the test score leader will compare it with the original test for immediate processing, ensuring that the test time is not affected.
If they forget or lose their exam registration form, candidates can make a commitment according to the supervisor's instructions to be able to take the exam normally. To avoid falling into this situation, candidates need to proactively check their documents and necessary items before the exam day.
One of the mandatory and strict regulations that candidates need to pay special attention to: If there is a delay of more than 15 minutes after the test time signal, candidates will not be allowed to take the exam. This means that, no matter how thorough the review is, just a few minutes late, students can lose all opportunities.
One of the principles of admission to public schools of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training is that candidates must complete all 3 exams (Math, Literature, Foreign Language), if they do not have one exam, they will not have the opportunity to participate in the admission exam.
